New school term dates set to be agreed

New term dates for 2024/25 are set to be approved by the Isle of Wight Council Cabinet next week.

If the new dates are agreed for 2024/25:

• Autumn term 2024 will run from Monday 2 September 2024 and end on Friday 20 December, with half term from Monday 21 October to Friday 1 November;
• Spring term would start on Monday 6 January 2025 and end on Friday 4 April, with half term from Monday 17 February until Friday 21 February;
• Summer term would start on Tuesday 22 April 2025 and end on Tuesday 29 July, with half term from Monday 26 May until Friday 30 May.
