The Isle of Wight Council has confirmed the dates that parents will be able to register their children for primary and secondary school admissions, for the September 2025 school year.
Due to the recent school place planning communication, there will be a slight delay in parents being able to register their children for primary school places.
Secondary school admissions will be live from September as usual.
Councillor Jonathan Bacon, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Education said ‘The decision has been made to postpone the date for primary school admissions this year to allow extra time to support school staff through the sensitivities of this process. Giving them the space needed to process recent information and to help ensure everyone’s wellbeing is our priority.’’
